NOTE: Andria & Christie do not work on clientele who are under 18 years old. A therapeutic approach where the session is specifically tailored to meet an individual’s unique physical condition, health goals, and personal preferences. Unlike standard massages that follow a preset, one-size-fits-all routine, a customized massage involves a pre-session consultation to assess the client’s specific needs, such as chronic pain, stress, or injury recovery.

Swedish Massage

NOTE: Poppy only works on female clientele and children/teenagers under 18 years old with a parent present. Andria & Christie do not work on clientele under 18 years old. Swedish massage is a traditional, full-body therapeutic massage technique that manipulates superficial muscle layers to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and release tension. It generally utilizes light to moderate pressure, distinguishing it from deeper modalities like deep tissue massage, which targets chronic pain and deeper muscle layers. Key benefits include reduced stress, improved blood flow, loosened stiff muscles, and enhanced overall well-being.

Hot Stone Massage

Cupping Massage

A therapeutic technique that uses suction cups made of glass, silicone, or bamboo to create a vacuum on the skin, pulling tissue upward to decompress muscles and fascia. Unlike traditional massage which applies pressure, this method uses negative pressure to lift the skin, thereby increasing blood flow, promoting lymphatic drainage, and releasing tight tissue. It is often performed as stationary cupping (leaving cups in place) or sliding/running cupping (gliding cups over oiled skin for a massage-like effect).

Lymphatic Drainage Technique

NOTE: Andria & Christie do not work on clientele under 18 years old. This technique employs light, rhythmic hand movements designed to mimic natural lymphatic contractions, moving stagnant fluid toward lymph nodes for processing. Unlike traditional massage, LDT focuses on detoxification, reducing edema, supporting immune function, and promoting relaxation by enhancing the circulation of lymph, interstitial, and synovial fluids through the body’s natural pathways.

Prenatal Massage

NOTE: No heat can be used during a prenatal session. A specialized form of therapeutic bodywork tailored to the unique physical and emotional needs of pregnant women. It utilizes gentle strokes, light to medium pressure, and side-lying or semi-reclined positioning to ensure the safety and comfort of both the mother and the developing baby. This practice differs from regular massage by avoiding deep tissue techniques and prone (face-down) positions after the first trimester. Its primary goals are to alleviate common discomforts such as lower back pain, swelling, and muscle tension, while also reducing stress hormones, improving circulation, and enhancing overall well-being.

Claire recommends choosing the Express Dermaplane service 2-3 days before any formal event where professional photos will be taken (weddings, galas, etc).
